As well as group meetings, we have other events for members, usually monthly but some less often.
Pictures and articles from events and day trips will appear on this page, sometimes as links, but additional pictures and articles may appear in the Newsletter, a link to it being on the News page.
Coffee Mornings
On the 4th Friday of the month (no charge May 2025 to March 2026) from 10am to 12noon at Kingswinford Community Centre. As well as having a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit, they offer a chance to:
- meet other members in a relaxed, informal setting and get the latest news;
- find out more about groups you might be interested in;
- book trips and other activities.
Speaker Meetings
On the 3rd Friday of the month (no charge May 2025 to March 2026 unless a specialist Speaker). Coffee and tea and a biscuit are served from 10.00am, when there is a chance to socialise. The speaker starts at 11am, usually for 45 minutes or so.
Day Trips
Normally from March to October. Tickets go on sale at coffee mornings, usually two months before – more via this link:

Mike Wood MP's Older People's Information Fair......
The fair at the end of October 2025 was fairly well attended by the people of Wordsley and Kingswinford. Newsletters were given out to interested parties, and Sue Helm, Chris, and Jim Brookes (pictured below, click black arrow) along with Chair Lynda Brettell were on hand to explain what our u3a organisation had to offer for retired and semi retired local people if they joined us. Mike Wood MP was also there to cast an eye over the proceedings.
