About this page
This page has information for Members about renewing their annual Membership for 2026-2027.
From The Chair (January 2026)..
"I am writing to advise you of a change concerning the new Membership year for Kingswinford & District u3a, which will be from 1st May 2026 until 30th April 2027.
This current year, all members will have an extra month, as the Membership year is extended from 31st March 2026 - 30th April 2026, so a period of grace is given to everyone in April. All members will be covered by the insurance policy in place through the Third Age Trust.
So in the final month of this Membership year, April 2026, all members are invited to renew for 1st May 2026 - 30th April 2027. Please make BACS on or after 1st April 2026. Please check the web-site for all dates when you can visit Kingswinford Community Centre to pay your (all inclusive) membership renewal fee of £30, by Cheque, Debit/Credit Card or Cash. It is vital that renewals are made by 30th April 2026. There will have to be a late charge of £5 raised if you have not paid by 30th April 2026."
There is a morning late Renewal session on Friday 15th May 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at KCC. Payment by cash or cheque only.
Members who have renewed in April by (mostly) BACS, but not collected their new Membership Card, can do so at this time.
In both the above cases, please bring your 2025-26 (blue) membership card to speed up the process.
The final late-renewals session with the Membership Secretary will be Monday 8th June 11-11.30 a.m. (this is followed by a joining session for potential new members and those whose membership has expired for two years or more). Payments are cash or cheque only. Anyone wishing to renew after this date will need to contact the Trustees Committee Chair directly.
With very few exceptions, all our activities are for Members only.
The Renewal sessions are not sessions for potential new Members to join, this is done at the Joining Sessions - visit the Join Us page.
You renew Membership and receive Membership Cards (using a variety of payment methods, namely Cash, Cheque, BACS and Debit/Credit cards) by attendance with your current membership card at one of the April 2026 sessions.
April renewal sessions were on the mornings of Monday 13th (10.30 a.m. till 11.30 a.m.), Friday 17th (10.30 till noon), Friday 24th (morning, after the AGM), Monday 27th (10.30 a.m. till 11.30 a.m.).
As Easter fell early in April, there were two extra sessions at the end of March, both in room one, namely Monday 30th March and Tuesday 31st March. Payment at these March sessions was by cash or cheque only.
If you are unable to renew in person, another member can attend in your place.
If you are a past Member who did not renew for 2025-26 please ensure you renew your Membership promptly as your data may well be removed from our system in accordance with our Data Protection Policy and you will have to join as a new member at the Joining sessions.
If you have not renewed prior to 2025-26, your data has been removed from the system for protection purposes and you will need to attend a New Member Joining session.
Membership fee is £30 inclusive. This means there is no charge (unless special circumstances) for attending Group meetings, Speaker meetings or Coffee mornings. We do not have Associate Membership with any other u3a, so, sorry, no discount
