Joe James Thomas came to entertain us all on Thursday 21st August.  It was an evening gig where members brought their own food and drink. Everyone enjoyed themselves listening to Joe who played a couple of  cheeky George Formby numbers on his Banjolele to begin with, then progressed into Elvis/ Buddy Holly numbers on his guitar, at which point the floor started to fill with dancers . Finally Joe switched to his keyboard to give us some Gerry Lee Lewis numbers. Joe certainly gave us a great show and everyone asked for an encore for which he duly obliged and sang 'Johnny be good'. He is a very talented young man who is self taught on his instruments. No doubt we will invite him back again.
