aka KINGSWINFORD AND DISTRICT STRUMMERS – KADS

Our aim is to enjoy the Ukulele as a group with many of our songs being easy to play once you have mastered the basics of tuning your Ukulele and learning a few easy chords. We all gradually develop and expand our skills, whilst many in the group without previous experience of playing a musical instrument find great pleasure in their new achievement.

Active membership of circa 50 with varying degrees of musical skill (but all with a sense of humour), gives us a very pleasurable activity within the u3a family, sharing as we do combined knowledge and musical ability.

Our successful group 10th Anniversary Concert was followed-up with with a Christmas Concert in December 2023 – pictured. And in September 24 we appeared on Silver Saturday as part of u3a week in the community. And again at the Christmas Party in December 2024.
