u3a members are also welcome to come as spectators before deciding on joining the waiting list.

Overview

Kurling is the game we play, spelt with a 'K' to distinguish it from the game played on ice. From start to finish this is an extremely friendly and fun group that welcomes newcomers.

In June 2024, the group celebrated its first year since returning after the COVID pandemic. During the year the group has gone from strength to strength, having acquired a third set of equipment to increase capacity by 50%.

Three members  – Sheila, Barbara and Wendy – each received flowers from Peter (Group Leader) for full attendance, while Maureen received hers for being selected Player of the Year.
