The rain poured down but Sandy Lawrence certainly brightened our afternoon on Friday 27th March.
She sang a selection of hits from Motown , an ABBA medley , Tom Jones, Tina Turner a couple of songs from Shirley Bassey along with other hits which got our members up dancing !
We think a good afternoon was had by all being entertained by the 'Duchess of Nerja' .

Skittles afternoon at Ashwood Social Club May 2026.

The afternoon was well attended (50 tickets sold) . We had eight teams (which were named after the planets) Two teams tied at the end of the afternoon so a tie breaker was played at the end to decide the winner.
Team Earth were the victors ( Linda Charlwood, Marcia Webster, Cynthia Radcliffe, Kay Entwhistle and Olli Wells) and received a box of Celebrations chocolates for their efforts.
Team Mars ( Chris Hingley, Carole Lannon, Suzanne Bithell, Sue Cox, Mary Laba and Graham Oldfield )
were the team with the lowest score so were awarded a bag of Jelly Babies as a consolation prize.
